Race to the Midnight Sun

The Yukon River Quest, the longest annual canoe and kayak race in the world, is a test of endurance and mental tenacity as contestants paddle 444 miles up the Yukon River from the Whitehorse, Yukon to Dawson City, Yukon. Kayakers, canoe paddlers and stand up paddle boards race day and night for four days with only the gear they can carry in their boats to sustain them for the journey and their wits to keep them on the grueling track. Out of the 93 teams to compete in 2016, 77 crossed the finish line in Dawson City.
