Come wander through the cobblestone-lined streets of Orvieto, Italy with me. Experience the kind people, the delicious food, and the sense of being home that I felt while studying abroad this summer in this beautiful, quaint hill town tucked away in the Umbrian countryside.

The Duomo di Orvieto impressively sits in the middle of the Piazza del Duomo, surrounded by shops, restaurants and cafes. It is a 14th-century Roman Catholic cathedral with a gothic façade that features many large bas-relief paintings, mosaics and statues that depict stories from the Bible's Old and New Testament.

The biweekly farmer's market in Orvieto, Italy is a place where locals and visitors alike congregate to buy fresh produce and foodstuffs. The market doubles as a community-gathering place where people chat with each other and catch up on their gossip.
