The Duomo di Orvieto11:16 AM8:51 PM 9:59 PMThe Duomo di Orvieto impressively sits in the middle of the Piazza del Duomo, surrounded by shops, restaurants and cafes. It is a 14th-century Roman Catholic cathedral with a gothic façade that features many large bas-relief paintings, mosaics and statues that depict stories from the Bible's Old and New Testament.
Orvieto Farmer's MarketThe biweekly farmer's market in Orvieto, Italy is a place where locals and visitors alike congregate to buy fresh produce and foodstuffs. The market doubles as a community-gathering place where people chat with each other and catch up on their gossip. The Piazza del Duomo di OrvietoThe Piazza del Duomo di Orvieto is located in the Italian city of Orvieto within the province of Terni. The heart of the square is the Duomo di Orvieto, which dates back to the Late Middle Ages. It is "undoubtedly the town's most important and unrivalled wonder," according to the church's tourism website. The steps of the Duomo, along with the rest of the square, is the city's central gathering place with the many shops, restaurants, bars, and cafes lining the piazza.
